Who they were
José Ceferino Garet Ventejo, Elías in the world, was born at Centelles near Barcelona on 8 August 1905, made his religious vows on 8 August 1921 and died a martyr at Valencia on 4 August 1936. He was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis.
