Who they were

The decree on martyrdom records that he was born in 1907, was ordained priest in May 1936 and was killed in the night between 27 and 28 July of that year. The Roman Martyrology commemorates him at Barcelona as a priest of the Salesian Society and martyr. He was beatified on 11 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology says he earned by his martyrdom the glory of eternal life.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
