Who they were

In the town of Chervonohrad near Lviv in Ukraine, Blessed Josaphata (Michaelina) Hordashevska, virgin, who in the Institute of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate that she founded served wherever the need was greatest.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 25 March as a virgin who founded the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate and served wherever the need was greatest.

The cause

Josaphata Hordashevska has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate: Blessed Josaphata Hordashevska.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
