Who they were
In Brittany, Saint Jacut, abbot, held to be the brother of Saints Winwaloe and Guethenoc: he founded a monastery near the sea, which later took its name from him.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 8 February as a Breton abbot who founded a monastery by the sea that bears his name.
