Who they were

At Longchamp on the outskirts of Paris in France, Blessed Isabelle, virgin, who, sister of the king Saint Louis IX, having renounced a royal marriage and the pleasures of the world, founded the convent of the Sisters Minor, with whom she served God in humility and poverty.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 22 February as the sister of Saint Louis IX who refused a royal marriage and founded the Sisters Minor at Longchamp.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
