Who they were

At Bologna, Blessed Imelda Lambertini, virgin, who, received as a nun in the Order of Preachers from childhood, while still a young girl, after receiving the Eucharist with extraordinary devotion, suddenly gave up her spirit.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 12 May as a young Dominican nun at Bologna who died suddenly after receiving the Eucharist with extraordinary devotion.

The cause

Imelda Lambertini has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Dominicans: Blessed Imelda Lambertini.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.

“Lorgna had a strong devotion to Blessed Imelda Lambertini and so established a religious congregation in her honor and named it the Dominican Sisters of Blessed Imelda; it was a congregation that was open to females wishing to pursue the Dominican charism and the spread of pastoral activities.” — Wikipedia
