Who they were

Ildefonso Ortega González was a diocesan priest, born at Jaén on 6 November 1873 and chaplain of the Holy Chapel of San Andrés in Jaén, who was killed on 31 October 1936 at the age of 63. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
