Who they were

Ignacy Kłopotowski was born on 20 July 1866 at Korzeniówka, Poland, and received from his parents a sound faith and love of his homeland. He entered the major seminary of Lublin in 1883.

He founded the Loretan Sisters. In his last years, as parish priest of St Florian's, he cared for the poor and the homeless and spread the Word of God through publishing.

The miracles

The Dicastery's biography does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

A priest who served the homeless and used the press to bring the Gospel to his people.

The cause

Ignacy Kłopotowski has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Sisters of Loreto: the cause of Blessed Ignacy Klopotowski.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
