Who they were

In the monastery of Jully in the territory of Troyes in France, Blessed Humbeline, prioress of that same community, who, happily converted from the pleasures of the world by her brother Saint Bernard, abbot of Clairvaux, gave herself to the monastic life with her husband's consent.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 12 February as prioress of Jully, converted from worldly pleasures by her brother Saint Bernard.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
