Who they were
At Milan, the burial of Saint Honoratus, bishop, who, under the threat of the Lombard invasion, brought a great part of the population to safety by finding them refuge in Genoa.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 8 February as a bishop of Milan who led much of his people to refuge in Genoa before the Lombard invasion.
