Who they were
Herminio Motos Torrecillas was born at María, in the province and diocese of Almería, on 9 December 1887. He was ordained priest and was parish priest of María when he died in hatred of the Catholic faith on 13 October 1936. Included among a group of 115 martyrs of the diocese of Almería, he was beatified at Aguadulce, near Almería, on 25 March 2017.
