Who they were

At Béziers in Gallia Narbonensis, now in France, Saint Guiraud, bishop, a man of wonderful honesty and simplicity, who, from being a canon regular, was raised against his will to the episcopate and in that dignity sought all the more the spirit of humility.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 5 November as a canon regular made bishop of Béziers against his will, a man of wonderful honesty, simplicity and humility.
