Who they were
At Metz in Austrasia, also in the territory of present-day France, Saint Goeric or Abbo, bishop, who succeeded Saint Arnulf, whose body he translated with veneration to this city.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 19 September as the bishop of Metz who succeeded Saint Arnulf and brought his body to the city.
