Who they were

A priest of the Order of Friars Minor who, as he was being led to execution at Kyoto in Japan, preached to the people and sang the psalm 'Praise the Lord, all you peoples'.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology records that he preached and sang a psalm on the way to his execution.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
