Who they were
In the monastery of Choziba in Palestine, Saint George of Choziba, monk and hermit, who lived enclosed for the whole week and on Sunday prayed together with his brethren, listened to them in spiritual matters and gave counsel to all.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 8 January as a monk and hermit of Choziba who counselled his brethren on Sundays.
