Who they were
At Osnabrück in Saxony in Germany, Saint Gautbert, bishop of the Swedes, who, driven from his see during the persecution by the pagans, accepted the government of the Church of Osnabrück.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 13 February as a bishop of the Swedes who, driven out by pagan persecution, took charge of the Church of Osnabrück.
