Who they were

In the convent of the Scots near Nantes in France, Blessed Françoise d'Amboise, who, Duchess of Brittany, founded a Carmel for women at Vannes in France, into which, once widowed, she then withdrew as a handmaid of Christ.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 4 November as a Duchess of Brittany who founded a Carmel for women at Vannes and entered it as a widow.

The cause

Françoise d'Amboise has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Carmel of Morlaix: Blessed Francoise d'Amboise.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
