Subdeacon of Toledo, martyr of the persecution in Spain
Who they were
A subdeacon of the clergy of the Archdiocese of Toledo, born on 10 August 1914 at Villacañas, who reached the palm of martyrdom on 12 September 1936, three months after he had received the subdiaconate.
He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, one of Liberio González Nombela and his twelve companions of the clergy of the Archdiocese of Toledo.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

The decree on martyrdom found that Liberio and his companions were killed in hatred of the faith.
