Florenza Giovanna Profilio founded the Institute of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of Lipari; she was born at Pirrera, Italy, on 30 December 1873 and died in Rome on 21 February 1956. Pope Francis recognised her heroic virtue on 14 April 2018.
