Who they were

Near the town of Gandía in the territory of Valencia, also in Spain, Blesseds Fernando García Sendra and José García Mas, priests and martyrs, who during the same persecution confirmed with their blood their faithfulness to God.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 18 September as a priest martyred near Gandía during the persecution in Spain.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
