Who they were

At Galeazza near Bologna, Blessed Ferdinando Maria Baccilieri, priest, who cared diligently for the people entrusted to him and founded the Congregation of the Servants of Mary for the assistance of poor families and in particular for the education of young girls.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 13 July as a parish priest who founded the Congregation of the Servants of Mary at Galeazza for poor families and the education of girls.

The cause

Ferdinando Maria Baccilieri has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Servants of Mary of Galeazza: the cause of Ferdinando Maria Baccilieri.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
