Eugenius of Toledo
Feast: 15 November (not on the universal Roman calendar; kept in the Roman Martyrology or local calendars)
Who they were
The Roman Martyrology names on 15 November a St Eugenius called of Toledo. Butler explains that he is said to have been a martyred companion of St Dionysius of Paris and had nothing to do with Spain.
Butler also notes that the early list of bishops of Toledo is confused and that the story of an early Eugenius of Toledo is probably a myth.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
Named in the Roman Martyrology as a martyr linked with St Dionysius of Paris.
