Who they were
At Die in France, Saint Étienne de Châtillon, bishop, who, drawn from the solitude of Portes-en-Bugey, governed this Church happily, without however taking anything away from the austerity of Carthusian life.
The miracles

Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 7 September as a Carthusian who governed the Church of Die as bishop without giving up Carthusian austerity.
