Who they were
At Lyon in France, Saint Epipodius, who, after the forty-eight glorious martyrs of this city, was arrested together with his beloved friend Alexander and completed his martyrdom by beheading.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 22 April as a martyr of Lyon beheaded after being arrested with his friend Alexander.
