Emanuele Herranz Establés was a diocesan priest and founder of the Esclavas de la Virgen Dolorosa; he was born at Campillo de Dueñas, Spain, on 1 January 1880 and died in Madrid on 29 June 1968. Pope Francis recognised his heroic virtue on 17 December 2013.
