Who they were

In the village of Garraf in the territory of Valencia in Spain, Blessed martyrs Eliseo García, religious of the Salesian Society, and Alexander Planas Saurí, who, during the persecution against the faith, were found worthy to be joined to the saving sacrifice of Christ.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 19 November as a Salesian religious martyred at Garraf during the persecution.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
