Who they were

At Rome, Blessed Elisabetta Canori Mora, mother of a family, who, after long suffering because of her husband's unfaithfulness, financial hardship and cruel harassment by relatives, bore everything with unsurpassed charity and patience and offered her life to the Lord for the conversion, salvation, peace and sanctification of sinners, joining the Third Order of the Most Holy Trinity.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 5 February as a Roman mother who bore great suffering with charity and offered her life for sinners.

The cause

Elisabetta Canori Mora has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Trinitarians: Blessed Elisabetta Canori Mora.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
