Who they were

The Roman Martyrology remembers him among the martyrs of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God killed at Paracuellos del Jarama near Madrid in Spain; the Acts of the Apostolic See describe him as an oblate, born on 5 January 1885 at La Gineta in the province of Albacete, shot on 28 November 1936. He was beatified by John Paul II on 25 October 1992.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

He was killed at Paracuellos del Jarama for belonging to the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
