Who they were
St. Dulcard was abbot of Ambiliac in France, and in the days of Bishop St. Sulpitius Pius of Bourges shone by the light of his virtue and led many on the path of salvation. He died about 640.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
A Benedictine Martyrology (1922) remembers him on 25 October.
