Who they were

Domingo Iturrate Zubero was born at Dima in the Basque Country on 11 May 1901. As Brother Domingo of the Blessed Sacrament he joined the Order of the Most Holy Trinity.

At the convent of Belmonte near Cuenca he worked with all his strength for the salvation of souls and the glory of the Trinity. His life of only twenty-six years was a constant striving for holiness.

The miracles

The Dicastery's biography does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

A young Trinitarian whose short life was one constant reaching for holiness.

The cause

Domingo del Santísmo Sacramento Iturrate Zubero has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Postulation for the cause of Blessed Domingo Iturrate.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
