Who they were
At Milan, the commemoration of Saint Dionysius, bishop, who for his right faith was banished to Armenia by the Arian emperor Constantius, where he ended his life, honoured with the rightful title of martyr.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 25 May as a bishop of Milan exiled to Armenia for his right faith by the Arian emperor Constantius.
