Who they were

In the village of Picadero de Paterna in the territory of Valencia, likewise in Spain, Blessed Darío Hernández Morató, priest of the Society of Jesus and martyr, who in the same persecution gave up his soul to God.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 29 September as a Jesuit priest martyred at Picadero de Paterna.

The cause

Darío Hernández Morató has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Jesuits: Blessed Darío Hernández Morató.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
