Who they were
The Martyrology of Donegal names Cuan at 10 July: 'Cuan, of Airbhre, in Ui Ceinnsealaigh, in Leinster'. Ui Ceinnsealaigh is the country of south Leinster that takes in modern County Wexford.
The same entry adds that he is held to be the same man as Cuan of Maethail-Brogain, in the Deisi of Munster.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
An early saint of the Wexford country, kept in the Irish calendars on 10 July.
