Who they were
At Calahorra in northern Spain, Saints Emeterius and Celedonio, who, both soldiers near León in Galicia, when the persecution broke out, were brought to Calahorra for having confessed the name of Christ and there received the crown of martyrdom.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 3 March as a soldier martyred at Calahorra for confessing the name of Christ.
