Who they were

Candida Jeong Bok-hye was one of the martyrs of Korea. The list of the Korean martyrs published by the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints records that she was killed at Seoul on 14 May 1801; she was beatified on 16 August 2014 by Pope Francis.
