Who they were

At Udine, Blessed Bonaventure of Forlì, priest of the Order of Servants of Mary, who in various regions of Italy exhorted the people to penance by his preaching and died in his eighties while engaged in preaching a Lenten course.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 31 March as a Servite priest who preached penance across Italy and died in his eighties while preaching a Lenten course.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
