Who they were

Near the village of Genovés in the territory of Valencia, also in Spain, Blessed Bernard (José Bleda Grau), religious of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin and martyr, who, also in the same persecution, fought the glorious fight for Christ.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 4 September as a Capuchin religious martyred near Genovés in the persecution.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
