Arnaldo da Limena
Feast: 10 February (not on the universal Roman calendar; kept in the Roman Martyrology or local calendars)
Who they were
B. Arnaldus de Catani was the successor of Abbot Stephen in the government of the abbey of S. Justina at Padua and presided over his community from 1209-1246, when the tyrannical Ezzelino da Romano, leader of the Ghibellines in Italy, threw him into a gloomy dungeon in which he lay for eight long years and died in 1255. He was noted for his purity of soul and body. His remains were first interred at Asolo, but in the sixteenth century were removed to the church of St. Justina in Padua.
