Who they were
Archippus is named by St Paul in his letter to Philemon as 'our fellow soldier'.
The Greek synaxaries commemorate him as a third martyr with Philemon and Apphia, who according to Eastern tradition were stoned at Colossae under Nero.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The 'fellow soldier' of St Paul's letter to Philemon.
