Who they were

At Foligno in Umbria, Blessed Angeline of Marsciano, who, left a widow, for more than fifty years consecrated herself exclusively to the service of God and neighbour, founding the religious Order of cloistered Franciscan Tertiaries for the formation of young girls.

The miracles

The Roman Martyrology does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 14 July as a widow who served God and neighbour for over fifty years and founded the cloistered Franciscan Tertiaries at Foligno.

The cause

Angeline of Marsciano has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: The cause of Blessed Angelina of Marsciano.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
