Who they were

Amarand of Moissac was a Benedictine monk, abbot of Moissac and bishop of Albi, venerated as a saint of the Catholic Church. He was elected abbot of Moissac after Paternus and served until 689-700, when he was named bishop of Albi, succeeding Citruinus there before the Muslim invasion and siege of the city. He was succeeded in 722 by Hugh I.
