Who they were
The Roman Martyrology remembers her at Cudot in the territory of Sens in France as a virgin who, cruelly beaten and abandoned by her parents as a child, then lived shut in a small cell into advanced old age.
She was beatified on 26 February 1874 by Pope Pius IX.
