Who they were

At the place called El Saler near Valencia in Spain, Blessed Alfredo Simón Colomina, priest of the Society of Jesus and martyr, who during the persecution against the Church confirmed his faithfulness to the Lord with his blood.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 29 November as a Jesuit priest martyred near Valencia during the persecution against the Church.

The cause

Alfredo Simón Colomina has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Jesuits: the cause of Alfredo Simón Colomina.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
