Who they were

In the same place (Paris), on the same day and year, Blessed Pierre-Jacques-Marie Vitalis, priest, and twenty companions, martyrs, killed out of hatred of the Church in the same circumstances at the abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Among those named is Blessed Alexandre Lenfant, priest.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 2 September among the martyrs killed at the abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris out of hatred of the Church.

The cause

Alexandre Lenfant has been beatified; the cause continues. Favours received, and offers of help, go to the postulation, the office that carries the cause forward: Jesuits: the cause of Blessed Alexandre Lenfant.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. Reporting one begins with the postulation.
