Who they were
At Lyon in France, Saint Alexander, martyr, who, three days after the passion of Saint Epipodius, was dragged out of prison, first tortured, then, hung on a cross, breathed forth his spirit.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 24 April as a martyr of Lyon crucified three days after Saint Epipodius.
