Who they were
At Carthage, in present-day Tunisia, Saint Agileus, martyr, on the anniversary of whose death Saint Augustine preached a sermon to the people in his honour in his basilica.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 25 January as a martyr of Carthage in whose honour Augustine preached.
