Agape z Terni
Feast: 15 February (not on the universal Roman calendar; kept in the Roman Martyrology or local calendars)
Who they were
Agape is honoured at Terni in Umbria as one of its patrons. A tradition of doubtful authenticity says she lived there in the time of the martyred bishop St Valentine, gathered a kind of community of women under his direction, and was martyred soon after him.
Butler says that her mention in the Roman Martyrology does not do much to prove she existed, that no liturgical tradition supports it, and that she has probably been confused with other martyrs of the same name, perhaps one who suffered at Antioch.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: she has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
Honoured as a virgin martyr and patron of Terni.
